4th Grade Distance Learning - Schoology ELA & Science/Technology Lesson

Overview + Purpose:

The purpose of this lesson is to re-familiarize students with their technology resources and
introduce Schoology. The students will complete a Nearpod lesson through Clever.

Learning Target/s

Engage: ​[7 min]- Essential Question: How will this learning be similar to learning online at
school? How will it be different?

Investigate​ ​[10 min]​ - guiding questions, activity, application of learning active experience that builds foundation of curriculum
required
The teacher and student will navigate the Schoology, Clever, Google Classroom pages.
Wellness checks will continue.

Act​ ​[8 mis]​ - share final product of learning, individual and group reflection, evaluate level of understanding, provide and receive
feedback
Students will: ​Conference with teacher about groups and about responsibilities.
Students will complete a Google form once finished about their schedule and about the live
lesson. Students who do not see the lesson live will complete at a later assigned date this week.
