blows it off as being sociable on a social network. I flat out ask him if he was cheating on me
and he denied it. Then he asks if I ever wondered why Angel was watching him so much.
“Maybe she wants you to be single and lonely just like her” is what he said to me.
Single and lonely kept echoing in my head. I lost the use of the common sense that I had
prior to dating Justin and agreed with him. Why was Angel all up in my business and not using
that effort to find her own man? It seemed like the only time that I heard from her is when she
had to tell me what she saw or thought she saw Justin doing. That really wasn’t the case, but I
was so focused on becoming Justin’s wife one day that I was losing touch with reality. He
continued to go out and when Angel would call or text I’d simply tell her to mind her business
until the calls and text stopped all together.
I was living in this alternate loving universe with my loving soon-to-be husband going
through life blindly until 5 months later when a woman and a baby showed up at my front door.
She stopped by to see Justin because he forgot to pick their daughter up from the sitter and she
wanted to make sure that he was ok. When I tell you that I was no longer blinded by love that
day! This woman was standing at my door with a baby no more than 2 months. Which means
that she got pregnant 11 months prior and Justin and I had been together for almost TWO
YEARS! I asked her how did she know where we lived and did she know who I was. She replied
that this is the address on her baby’s insurance card that Justin pays for and that he told her
