A PALE GREEN JADE RUYI-SCEPTRE
19th century
Carved in the form of a lingzhi branch, the terminal with a prowling
chilong to one side, the shaft carved in openwork relief with two facing
sinuous chilong clambering on the gnarled branch, issuing smaller
fruiting lingzhi stems, the grey-green stone with some faint russet
mottling.

The recumbent animal facing forwards, the mottled stone of light and
dark grey tone, a circular aperture running through the centre of the
body, wood stand. 4.5cm (1.3/4in) long. (2).
