This mark is a rare one to come across and one that appears to be the mark of a retail silversmith or trader in
silver

This circa mid-1920s/early 1930s cigarette case is one of the only recorded items bearing the CK silver mark.
The artisan’s mark, Foo, indicates that CK is highly likely to be a retailer.

Other items have been recorded, but no images are available for them. One is reported to have been a bowl with
a similar engraved decorative motif as this case.
There is a record of a fish slice that appears to be 19th century and carries a pseudo-hallmark silver mark
believed to have been Canton struck and made. There is no evidence of any connection between the two CK’s.
