Ingenuity  struck  again  when  Hung  Chong  produced  this  tea  service  [below]  that  takes  its  form  from  a
            naturalistic adaption of a bamboo stem complete with all the grain marking a natural stem would have. It is quite
            unique and, if I recall correctly, not copied or attempted by any other Chinese retail silversmith
































            Equally ingenious and to my mind again unique to Hung Chong is this inverted baluster form circa 1900 tea
            service  [below]  that  has  embossed  crabs  climbing  reed  plants  against  a  beautifully  executed  basket-weave
            ground. Humour comes through with the tea pot finial taking the form of a frog.
