Contrary to popular belief, Levy
Hermanos, as the business was
known in Hong Kong and South
East Asia, was a partnership
between three bothers, Adolphe,
Rafael and Charles Levy.
The Levy brothers were one of the
first Jewish families to settle in
Manila in the Philippines; their
business started life as dealers of
watches and this quickly grew to
them being the exclusive agents
in the Philippines for Omega and
Patek Philippe.
A very fine, decorative gold
enamel-hunter with a minute and
sweep second - for the Chinese
market: 18k gold, polychrome
enamel, the obverse with gallant
scene, the back decorated with a
portrait of a young lady, middle
part with champlevé enamel
