An interesting jug, not only for its form, which is unusual in itself for Chinese silver but also for the fact there
are similarities in the decorative techniques employed with the previously illustrated box. Both use arabesques
and although the jug is of a later date than the box, the fluidity of the foliate motif around the base of the jug
has similarities to the box. This is a late 19th century jug convinced it is an late 17th/early 18th century jug!
