A highly talented silversmith; a master of the
dragon and a master of borders!
No other Chinese silversmith understood the
power of enclosing decorative motifs within
borders and friezes, in fact Qing Xiang had
such a high perception of them that he often
created borders from a multiple series of
linear decorative layers in the same manner
Victorian plaster workers used to create
            cornices.
