Typical Siu Kee merchandise of the mid-
late 1920’s and most of the 1930’s - a set
of 10 sundae spoons and a deep serving
dish, both using the traditional bamboo
decorative motifs that so well suited
Chinese silver of this period. The finely
planish ground of the dish accentuates
this more “commercial” style that was
prevalent in Shanghai and Hong Kong at
this time.
