An impressive circa 1900-1910
amphora-shaped vase carrying the
Zee Wo silver mark.
An applied high relief prunus motif
and flying magpie against a plain
highly polished ground adds drama
to this piece. The crab stock handles
adds a nice balance to this
otherwise classical piece.
A totally unique Zee Wo pepperette
in the form of a chilli pepper. This
shouts of Zee Wo making this for a
“special client”; it is a little gem of
Chinese silver making and
probably also has some humour
built into its reason for being.
