A WHITE JADE ‘DRAGON AND CHILONG’ DISC, BI
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The disc is carved with three sinuous chilong crouching on top and one clambering into
the central hole. The sides are carved with two writhing dragons amidst cloud scrolls. The
stone is pale greenish-white in tone with minor pale and russet inclusions.
