WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN DOUBLE
RECTANGLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
The brush rest is moulded and pierced as three dragons rising above waves
and rocks and raised on a low pedestal with bracket-shaped apron, all
decorated in underglaze blue, green, black and iron red.
