                                                           The pendant is carved in the round depicting two clambering
                                                           chilong. The semi-translucent stone is of an even white tone with
                                                           minute areas of russet inclusion.

                                                           A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE ‘BATS
                                                           AND LINGZHI’ PENDANT

                                                           QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

                                                           The pendant is finely carved depicting two small bats in flight
                                                           amidst a cluster of lingzhi. The stone is of a pale white tone with
                                                           some minor russet inclusions.

                                                           A WHITE JADE ‘SILK WORM AND
                                                           MULBERRIES’ PENDANT

                                                           MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

                                                           The stone is carved in the round as a silk worm crawling on
                                                           mulberry fruits and leaves. The russet ‘skin’ of the stone is cleverly
                                                           utilised and carved with a butterfly perched on the side of the
                                                           fruit.
