A WHITE JADE ‘BOYS AND OX’ group

MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The jade is carved depicting a young boy surmounted on the back
of an ox, the other boy shown walking behind holding a rope
attached to the animal’s nose. The stone is of an even white tone
with dark russet inclusions.
