A GREY AND RUSSET JADE CARVING OF A MONKEY

QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The monkey is modelled seated on its haunches, its head and body slightly
turned to one side, with bulging eyes and a snout-like nose. The stone is of a
greyish-white and russet tone, partly suffused with milky mottling.
