                                   A BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER AND STAND

                                               QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

                                     The censer is well cast with a compressed bulbous body raised on three short legs
                                     rising to a waisted neck under a galleried rim. It rests on a stand with three scroll-
                                     form feet. The base of the censer and the stand are each cast with an apocryphal
                                     Xuande four-character seal mark.
                                     6 in. (15.4 cm.) wide
