186 QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
Comprised of a white jade carving of two
gourds borne on a gnarled branch issuing
curly vines and leaves, with a butterfly
hovering above, the stone of an opaque
creamy white tone with very minor russet
inclusions; and a white jade pendant in the
form of a duck with its head turned back,
grasping a millet in the beak, the stone of
an even semi-translucent white tone with
minor milky mottling.

Comprised of a yellow jade mythical beast
grasping a spray of lingzhi in the mouth; a
jade recumbent feline covered extensively
by dark russet ‘skin’; a creamy jade duck
with a millet in the mouth suffused with
dark-russet veining; a white jade recumbent
luduan with concentrated areas of russet
inclusions; and a white jade recumbent
horse with minor russet inclusions.
