A BLACK-GLAZED JAR
NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (960-1234)
The stoutly potted jar is applied with a pair
of ribbed loop handles on the shoulder. It
is covered inside and out with a lustrous
black glaze ending in a line above the foot to
reveal the fine, pale ware.

A BLACK-GLAZED JAR
northern sONG-JIN DYNASTY (960-1234)
The jar is stoutly potted with a gloublar
body and waisted neck rising to an everted
mouth. It is covered on the exterior with a
lustrous brownish-black glaze ending in an
irregular line above the foot to reveal the
fine, white ware.
