JIN-YUAN DYNASTY (1115-1368)
The small dish with gently rounded sides
rising to a an everted rim is covered inside
and out with a crackled lavender-blue
glaze thinning to mushroom at the rims.
The glaze has some dark specks. The foot
ring is unglazed, revealing the dark russet
body.

A JUN BLUE-GLAZED DISH
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The dish is potted with shallow sides
rising from a recessed base to an everted
edge with a lipped rim, covered overall
with a milky sky-blue glaze thinning to
a mushroom tone on the rim. There are
three spur marks on the base.
