14th century
Of circular form moulded to the exterior with vertical
lotus petals rising to a broad everted rim, the interior
walls with a scroll pattern, the well moulded with
twin fish, covered overall in a pale-green glaze.

A SMALL JUNYAO PURPLE-SPLASHED DISH
Yuan Dynasty
With shallow rounded sides rising to an everted rim,
all covered in a thick pale blue glaze with a large
violet splash to the interior, the glaze thinning to a
pale mushroom colour at the rim and the well edge,
stopping just above the foot to reveal the buff wear.
