A PAIR OF HARDWOOD COMPOUND
CABINETS AND HAT CHESTS, SIJIANGUI
LATE QING DYNASTY
Composed of mix hardwoods including
huanghuali, hongmu and tielimu, the cabinet and
hat chest are carved on the panel doors with
various antiques and ftted fush to the frame.
The doors open from the removable center stile
to reveal the shelved interior. The square-section
legs are joined by shaped beaded aprons.
