SCHOLAR’S ROCK
The rock has a wind-worn appearance and a
dramatic shape enhanced by the ‘broken’ arch at
the top, one section above a large opening that
horizontally pierces the stone, the other section
above another large opening that pierces the
stone diagonally from front to back.

IVORY-COLORED SCHOLAR’S ROCKK
The horizontally oriented rock of irregular form orm
has numerous perforations that create a sense nse
of depth on one side, one of these continuing to g to
the reverse which has nooks and crannies. The The
ivory-colored stone has areas of pinkish-russet sset
color, and some small black inclusions or pitting tting
on the reverse.
