                           A CARVED OVAL BAMBOO BRUSH POT
                           19TH CENTURY
                           Of oval section, the brush pot is decorated on one side in incised negative carving with bamboo
                           issuing from a nodule just above the base as well as pendent from the mouth rim beside a four-character
                           inscription xie wei qing feng (pure breezes in gorges and valleys) and signed Xiaoquan followed by a
                            two-character seal that also reads Xiaoquan.
