A DEHUA FIGURE OF GUANYIN
18TH CENTURY
The fgure is seated on a straw mat with hands
hidden within the sleeves of the long robes drawn
around her, a ruyi-shaped necklace spans her
chest and a hairpin secures her topknot above
a short veil covering the back of the head.
