     DAOGUANG PERIOD (1821-1850)

     清道光 綠地粉彩連年福壽紋圓屏

     The circular plaque is decorated to the top with a central stylised shou
     character roundel surrounded by four large bats amongst lotus and peony
     blooms with leafy tendrils, all within a key-fret border and reserved on a
     pistachio-green ground.

     A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE GREEN-GROUND ‘BAJIXIANG’
     JARDINIÈRE
     19TH CENTURY

     清十九世紀 綠地粉彩八吉祥紋大缸

     The sturdily potted jardinière is colourfully decorated with large lotus blooms,
     bats, peaches and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, set between a ruyi
     border around the mouth rim and a band of lappets encircling the foot.
