A FAMILLE ROSE ‘EIGHT HORSES’ VASE, HU
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)

民國 粉彩八駿圖獸耳瓶

The vase is moulded with two lion-head handles and fxed rings, and is fnely decorated with horses
playing and grazing amongst blossoming branches and rockwork in a river and mountainous landscape
to one side, and with fgures by a pavilion in a mountainous river landscape to the reverse. There is an
apocryphal Qianlong seal mark on the base.
