The cover is well carved in openwork with a crab with its pincers held in front. The underside is
naturalistically rendered with an open lotus leaf. The stone is of an even pale tone.

The boy is carved in the round crouching on all fours. With a smiling face, he is holding a lingzhi spray over
his shoulder and a pomegranate spray beneath him. The stone is of an even white tone with a deep russet
inclusion.
