A VERY LARGE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL MOONFLASK
Jiaqing
The flattened circular vessel decorated to each face in vibrant red,
yellow and blue enamels with a large phoenix amongst peony
blossoms against a leafy ground, rising to a globular neck flanked
with gilt-bronze dragons, raised up on a tall foot rim with a key fret
band, carved wood stand.

The globular body rising to a tall thin neck and with a garlic head
mouth rim, brightly enamelled with an elaborate lotus flower head
meander, on a sky blue ground, flanked with later added gilt-bronze
Buddhist lion-form handles. 19.5cm (7 5/8in) high
