The cylindrical vessel finely carved to the exterior in low relief with
Guanyin floating above waves holding a lotus flower, the reverse
with a three-line poetic inscription, formed with three small feet, the
surface patina of a rich coffee hue.

Carved in relief with a bearded gentleman riding a mule on a rugged
mountain path, with a boy attendant following behind, beneath
overhanging pine amongst clouds, signed 松菴製 song an zhi, or
