A PALE GREY AND RUSSET-BROWN JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
1760-1850
The bottle is well hollowed and has one fat face that is fnely mottled
with the remains of russet-brown skin, while the reverse slightly
bulbous side is plain showing opaque white inclusions in the pale
grey stone.

A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN FACETED SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1770-1850
Each side is molded with a raised panel, those on the main sides
are decorated with scenes of a lady with a young child, those on
the narrow sides with orchids. The characters zhenwan (‘precious
plaything’) are inscribed on the base.
