The body is decorated with a continuous scene of a group of tribute
bearers from tributary nations, one holding a gui tablet and others
bearing precious objects, gathered around a white elephant, a lion, a
qilin and another mythical beast in a landscape.

A CARNELIAN AGATE QUADRILOBED SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1860

Each side is carved in low relief with a bat within a ruyi-shaped
reserve that conforms to the lobed shape of the bottle. The stone
shades from warm buff to a deep rose color.
