A YELLOW-OVERLAY PINK GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1860
The bottle is carved through the opaque yellow overlay to the opaque
pink ground, with a continuous scene of pine branches and lingzhi
growing from rocks, with a deer on one side and a pair of cranes on
the other.
2º in. (5.6 cm.) high, jadeite stopper

TWO INSIDE-PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES
The frst, smaller bottle, signed Chen Zhongsan and dated gengxu year
(1910), is decorated with a continuous scene of wide, pierced rock
from behind which emerges a pine branch, with spiders and other
insects within the scene. The larger bottle, signed Wang Baichuan
and dated guichou year (1973), is decorated on one side with a cat
resting on a rock, and on the other side with a crane on a pine branch.
