The soft paste, rectangular bottle, 1820-1850, is decorated on either Ruth and Carl Barron Collection, Belmont, Massachusetts, no. 4893.

base with an apocryphal Yongzheng mark. The bottle of square section, Ruth and Carl Barron Collection, Belmont, Massachusetts, no. 5157.
1850-1880, is decorated on each side with two buddhist lions beneath Cylindrical bottle: Robert Kleiner, London, 2012.

A FOSSILIFEROUS LIMESTONE SNUFF BOTTLE
1730-1860
The bottle is thick-walled and of somewhat fattened, rounded shape.
The fnely polished stone is of buff color suffused with a dense pattern
of fne black and some pale blue and pale russet inclusions.
