late 19th/early 20th century
Finely decorated in enamels and gilt, the exterior with a gathering of a
profusion of women and children engaged in leisure pursuits, including
koto practice, shamisen playing, dancing and calligraphy; the interior
depicting a design of hanging wisteria; signed on the base
Yabu Meizan within a gilt seal. 12.5cm (5in) diameter.
