Decorated in enamels and gilt, the interior entirely embellished with The body of exaggerated ovoid form, with flared foot and square neck,
characteristic densely grouped minute butterflies, the exterior with the upper section decorated with four lobed panels, each depicting a
alternating flowers, butterflies and birds enclosed within swirling different scene including a peasant carrying brushwood and making
brocade panels; signed Ryozan. his way up a mountain path flanked on the left by a waterfall, sparrows
12.2cm (4¾in) diam. perched and flying among maple branches, a summer outdoor scene
of children playing go, catching goldfish and cavorting around a
