A VERY RARE BRONZE RITUAL WINE VESSEL 晚商 安陽時期 青銅饕餮紋方彝

LATE SHANG DYNASTY, ANYANG, 12TH CENTURY BC
The slightly tapering, rectangular vessel is cast in crisp, high relief on a leiwen ground on each 彝長方形，附廡殿式頂蓋，上設蓋鈕，直腹，通體施高浮雕紋
side with a large taotie mask set between two confronted, long-tailed birds above and two 飾。蓋、身四隅及四面中軸均設扉棱。器身呈三段式，上段飾長
dragons with backward-turned heads on either side of an arched opening on the foot below, 尾鳥紋，中段飾獸面紋，下段飾顧首龍紋，均綴雷紋作地，邃密
all divided by narrow, notched flanges repeated at the corners and also on the cover where 精緻。方直圈足，四面正中各有開口，呈拱形。蓋面稍微鼓脹，
