A VARIED GROUP OF TEXTILES
18th/19th century
Comprising: a kesi Imperial elbow cushion
cover, woven with five bats amongst lotus and
peony sprays on a yellow ground; a pair of
Imperial yellow ground kesi panels with further
bats amongst flower sprays and scrolling
foliage; a collar woven with alternating crane
and shou roundels; a ‘dragon’ robe fragment;
and a coral-ground circular figural panel. The
pair of kesi panels 71cm (28in) long. (6).

and scattered chrysanthemum sprays on

robe section with five-clawed dragons above
foaming waves with auspicious emblems on
a golden yellow ground. The sleeve bands
