2.1.2 Tree Outline and Toolboxes
By default, the ANSYS DesignModeler application starts in modeling mode, meaning the Tree Outline
is displayed and the Modeling tab is displayed below at the bottom of the Tree Outline window.
Selecting the Sketching tab will display the Sketching toolboxes in the same region of the interface. You
can change the default mode via the Display category in the Miscellaneous section of the Options
panel.

2.1.3 Graphics Window
The Model View tab is displayed below the window in both Sketching and Modeling mode. Likewise,
select the Print Preview tab in both Sketching and Modeling mode. You can change the default mode
via the Print Preview category in the Miscellaneous section of the Options panel.
2.1.4 Detailed View
The Details View is populated during the sketching operation. In modeling mode, click an entry in the
Tree Outline to populate the Details View. For detailed information about the Details View in sketching
and modeling mode see the Sketch and Model Information section of the ANSYS Design Modeler
application help.
