Just as soon as one visitor was forgotten and I started to
leave, two of the nicest guys I can’t remember names,
came up around the bend and it was the way it should be
for all Paddlers. Genuine camaraderie and fellowship of
the river. We didn’t have to say much and they were quiet
but we were all smiling and anx-
ious to move on.
I think they were short hauling
but I could be wrong, but I know
they inspired me and I go to tell
my tree chopping story. Even
Scoopy like them.
