Finally getting water to paddle it wasn’t hard to finish 6 miles to Coffee Pot with relative ease.
Most of the time so far there had really been no serious day of paddling only, but many adven-
tures that had occurred to interrupt just how far I might paddle in one day. I still had no idea
and did not want to hurt myself to find out. I enjoyed paddling with the river than the reser-
voirs back home where there was no current. River paddling was certainly so much easier than
many of the reservoirs I had been in fighting under currents and wind. On the River I could al-
most simply float long……...and sometimes did.
