Stories of Jesus, Show me that scene in the garden, Of bitter
        Tell them to me.  1/5                                   pain;
                                                                And of the cross where my Saviour For me was
        Verse 2                                                 slain:
        First let me hear how the children
        Stood round his knee; And, through the sadness,
        And I shall fancy his blessing Help me to see
        Resting on me; How Jesus suffered For love of me.

        All in the love-light Verse 1
        Of Jesu's face. 2/5 A little child may know

        Verse 3 'Tis written on the earth below,

        May speak to me; Around me when I look,
                                                                His handiwork I see;
        Give me their message, This world is like a picture book
        For I would hear To teach his name to me. 2/5
        How Jesus taught us

        Tell me, in accents of wonder, The rainbow and the soft spring showers,
        How rolled the sea, And every pleasant sound. 3/5
