Who suffered there for me; All ye that pass by,
To Jesus draw nigh :
And from my smitten heart with tears Two To you is it nothing that Jesus should die? Your
wonders I confess: ransom and peace, Your surety He is :
The wonders of redeeming love Come, see if there ever was sorrow like His.

For my abiding place, For sins not His own;
I ask no other sunshine Your debt He hath paid, and your work He hath
Than the sunshine of His face. done.
Ye all may receive
Content to let the world go by, The peace He did leave,
To know no gain nor loss, Who made intercession: My Father, forgive!

Wondrous Cross The prayer is accepted, the sinner is free.

When I survey the wondrous cross Who on Jesus rely,
On which the Prince of glory died, And come for the pardon God cannot deny.
My richest gain I count but loss, 3/4

Verse 2 My pardon I claim;
Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, For a sinner I am,
Save in the death of Christ, my God; A sinner believing in Jesus's name. He
All the vain things that charm me most, purchased the grace Which now I embrace :
