Horn—born and raised in Newark, NJ, and the granddaughter of a 60-year veteran, multi salon
Wowner, and hairstylist, the late Elizabeth Wright Clark. Kindra would soon realize that she, too,

had the gift of skilled hands and an eye for making women look beautiful.

For many years Kindra utilized her talents working in well-known salons like Cutting Edge of Newark, NJ, and

Double Exposure in Baltimore, MD, where she obtained her cosmetology license and a degree in Business
Management & Marketing. This led to her relocating back to New Jersey and opening her first salon in 2006,
called Jala’Madi’s Signature’ Salon, named after her children, Amadi and Jala. Providing only the best for

her clients, the salon offered the perfect ambiance of calmness and relaxation with top of the line hair care
