Notification of the Insurance Commission

Re: Prescription of Case where Director, Manager, Authorized Person
Acting on Behalf of Life Insurance Company or Advisor of Life Insurance Company

Has a Bad Record or Carries out any Activity Showing a Lack of Responsibility

or Due Care that a Person of Such Profession is Supposed to Have in His Conduct
Dated 26 July B.E. 2556 (2013)

10 Prohibited Characteristics are as follows;

(1) Have been imprisoned by a final court judgment, whether the sentence is suspended
or not, for an offence related to property only.

(2) Being accused or prosecuted by the Office of Insurance Commission, regulatory

agency or authorized agency in the country or in foreign country for an offence related
to property only.

(3) Being a person whose assets have been ordered by a court to be reverted to the state
according to the anti-corruption law, anti-money laundering law or any other similar

law.

(4) Being a person designated by anti-money laundering and combating of financing of
terrorism law.

(5) Being a person considered by regulatory agency or any legal agency in the country

or in foreign country as having prohibited characteristics for being a director, manager
or person with management authority or company executive under the regulation

or authority of that agency for an offence related to property only.

(6) Having a cause to lead to a belief that the person has or used to have a behavior to
commit wrongdoing against one’s duties or provided services unfairly and dishonestly
or used to participate or supported that kind of action committed by other person.

(7) Having a cause to lead to a belief that the person has or used to have a behavior which

was an action that is not fair or takes advantage of the insured, the beneficiary,
the shareholders or members of the public or have or used to participate or supported

that kind of action committed by other person.
