Diane Williams-Tyrrell CPA, CGA
Financial Analyst, Harlequin
Diane s a professional accountant with over two
decades worth of experience. She has extensive
experience in the areas of budgeting and
forecasting. Having worked at two large companies,
she is experienced with retail, wholesale, multi-
branch and multi-currency organizations. She also
had the opportunity to be involved in several system
conversion projects.
Her career path has been diverse with the first
part of her career having been in the
retail/wholesale food industry and the second
part of her career in the publishing industry. As an
employee of one of Canada’s largest grocery
companies, she progressively took on roles with
more responsibilities. A mid career change led
her to join a popular publishing company as a
financial analyst having integral involvement in
their budget and forecasting process.
Always one who enjoyed helping others, in 2017
Diane became a member of the group Black
Female Accountants Network volunteering her
time with the objective of encouraging and
mentoring the next generation of accountants as
they begin their professional journey. She also
supports the network's relationship with new
immigrants through her role as their TRIEC/PINs
representative.
