A Letter From The Head

Looking back at all that we have accomplished this year, I am grateful to have had

the opportunity to lead such an ambitious student body. The innovative ideas

implemented throughout the year have led to success in all eight departments, each

interpreting their tasks in creative ways and taking new routes to achieve various

goals. Learning comes in many different forms - this has become more and more

evident in the many years I have been part of the SLO®. As students participate in

the SLO® and assume all the responsibilities that ensue, they learn many important

skills that are vital to future success. They are exposed to situations that challenge

their creative mind and are given the opportunity to discover new talents within

themselves.

Every single action taken by the SLO® is done with the intention to help improve the

overall experience at school for everybody. The goal is to ensure every student has

something to smile about. The fruits of our hard work are evident in the way students

interact with each other. The respect and love we have for one another is something I

will miss greatly. The lessons I have learnt from my experience in the SLO® will stay

with me forever, and the memories I have made with the students around me cannot

be forgotten. I would like to thank our school director, our dear Student Life

Coordinators, all staff members, and most importantly, every student that has

participated in making the SLO® as successful as it is today. To the future leaders of

the SLO®, and to every student that wants to do something great: all it takes is the

willingness to persevere and the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Best of

luck to every student that is to follow in our footsteps, I know that once a Choueifat

student puts their mind to achieving their goals, nothing can stop them. Please enjoy

the many photos displayed in this yearbook, I hope the collection of happy

highlights from this year will add a little bit of joy to everyone’s day. I look forward to

seeing the successful endeavours of all future generations; I know the SLO® will

never stop progressing.
