IT Sales
The go ahead has been given to purchase new
and innovative technology products in order to
upgrade our meeting rooms and improve the
experience for our clients.
Kramer VIA Wireless presentation devices
allowing for a seamless connection from any mobile device
including laptops, mobile phones and iPads.
Smart Kapp White Boards
offering a sophisticated alternative to flipcharts, connecting
to mobile devices via Bluetooth and replicating the whiteboard
display in real-time, or sending snapshots for future reference.
Installation schedules and a user manual for the Kramer devices
will be distributed shortly. In the upcoming IT forums, a Smart Kapp
trainer will provide a demonstration of the white boards.
In order to objectively evaluate the Technology provision for LEO
we have engaged with a new IT provider for 21 Gloucester Place
called Centrix. They provide telephony services and along with
their partner, Medusa Business, provide Managed LAN & Wi-Fi
services throughout the centre.
Several of our sites have now successfully migrated to the new
phone software Polycom Flex, with the remaining scheduled for
April and May. Additional benefits include:
A more streamlined login process and pin number setup, Automatic
logout, Firmware upgrades will allow future developments
including QR reader login using the JEFF App.
