The Gift of Prophecy is NOT to be confused
with the ministry (office) of a prophet.
Just because (the exerciser) receives
the prophetic gift does NOT mean
he/she is a prophet.
The difference between the two is seen
in Acts 21:8-11,
where God forecast Paul's future.
The Holy Spirit did not use Philip’s four
unmarried daughters with the prophetic gift,
but he called a prophet named Agabus
to come down from Judea.
