Love is patient [long tempered] toward

[others]; holds its tongue or critical response,

when it has been wronged. It is not quick

to get angry or to take offense.

It practices patience. And at the end

of longsuffering is kindness.

Love is kind. It not only has kind feelings,

but it does kind things. It works

for the welfare of others. It doesn’t mind

being inconvenienced. It does not point out

the faults in others nor their failures.
