Love does not gloat over other people’s sins
but takes its delight in the truth. It is quick
to believe the best of others. It is not suspicious
or cynical. It does not accused falsely,
criticized, belittled, or put down.
It rejoices when right and truth prevail.
Love always bears up, always trusts,
always hopes, always endures.
It refuses to give up, surrender,
stop believing, or hoping.
It has no desire to fight back,
to lash out, or seek vengeance.
Love never ends… [will not stop loving].
